Language assistance services Language assistance services are free to all Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP) members. If you need to communicate with your doctor or a mental health provider, you do not need to use a family member or friend as an interpreter. GCHP provides: ● In-person or teleconference interpreting by trained interpreters 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This includes sign language interpreters. ● Translation of written information in other languages and formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats and other formats). ● Interpreters that are trained to interpret and translate health information between you and your doctors. Ask your doctor or office staff for language assistance services. You can also call GCHP Member Services at 1-888-301-1228 Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you use a TTY, call 1-888- 310‑7347 .
